The world of sales, marketing and services has changed. Access to information through the Internet and social media means a market of customers who are informed. Just think about how you shop. We expect businesses to understand who we are and help us make the best choice. And this applies to any scenario and scale, whether business to customer or business to business.
That’s where CRM software comes in and that’s why Microsoft is excited to announce today the upcoming release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 (on-premises) and Dynamics CRM Online.
“Customers don’t want to be sold to anymore,” said Bob Stutz, corporate vice president, Microsoft Dynamics CRM. In his blog post, Stutz said that customers are 60 percent through the purchase process by the time they make contact with a business, so salespeople need to be prepared to meet customers at that point and smartly engage.
This next version of Dynamics CRM makes it easy. It will help salespeople better know who their customers are, understand their customers’ needs, and nurture long-term relationships by delivering a completely reimagined user experience that makes it simple for users to see what needs to be done and respond. And perhaps most exciting to Microsoft customers, the new version introduces mobile client apps for Windows 8 tablets and iPad, creating a seamless experience for salespeople at work and on the road.
