Sunflowers ready? Pea shooters, locked and loaded? It’s the moment all you zombie-killing horticulturalists have been waiting for – a sneak peak at the new “Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare,” including features exclusive to Xbox One.
At Germany’s gamescom, PopCap Games, a division of Electronic Arts Inc., revealed a host of features planned for the highly anticipated, immersive action experience rolling out first on Xbox One.
“With its first reveal in June, we blew fans away with a glimpse of a game that takes the 'Plants vs. Zombies' world to an entirely new genre,” said Tony Leamer, "Plants vs. Zombies" franchise director at PopCap. “Here at gamescom, we’re showcasing even more exciting elements, including Kinect for Xbox One and Xbox SmartGlass gameplay in Boss Mode, playable Zombie classes, character customization, and more. These amazing features will help make this one of the must-have action games of 2014.”
Those who enjoy tending a lethal garden (lethal to those pesky zombies, anyway), will enjoy new features such as 24-player multiplayer action (that’s right, two dozen), where you can choose your side – plants or zombies and personalization of your favorite plants and zombies.
You can preorder your game now for the Spring 2014 launch, and you can get all the dirt on Plants vs. Zombies and gamescom at Xbox Wire.
