Want a quick way to get hotfix information? Use the Windows PowerShell is to use the Get-Hotfix cmdlet.
Command : Get-hotfix or the abbreviated ‘hotfix’
To check any specific hotfix if it is installed in the system I use following command.
Hotfix –id “KB Number”
