Summary: Learn how to protect the data in a Windows PowerShell job.

Hey, Scripting Guy! Question How can I protect the data that is produced by a Windows PowerShell job?

Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer If the job is running and your Windows PowerShell session or computer crashes, you’ll lose the data.
One possibility is that you can write the data to disk before the job finishes so that its available if the
session or machine stops. This would be a good approach for overnight jobs where the machine
is unattended and might be restarted by an outside process.
