Microsoft’s CityNext initiative was cited recently as an example of good corporate citizenship that helps companies’ business interests as well as societal needs. The praise came from Alice Korngold, author of “A Better World, Inc.: How Companies Profit by Solving Global Problems … Where Governments Cannot,” and who was named by The Guardian newspaper as being among the 30 most influential sustainability voices in the U.S.
