On Thursday, Microsoft opened the doors to its newest retail store at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu with the help of Seattle-based megastars Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and alternative group Neon Trees.
More than 4,000 customers came out for the grand opening, some of whom camped out starting at 10 p.m. on Wednesday evening for their chance to be the first ones in the door.
The local Honolulu community welcomed Microsoft with open arms, and the excitement for the grand opening was overwhelming.
