To show how committed Microsoft is on cloud computing, and how far cloud computing has come, Anderson shared some key developments, including:
- 76 percent of all enterprise apps now run on the cloud-friendly Windows Server platform.
- Windows Azure attracts 1,000 new customers every day, and revenues have grown 210 percent year-over-year.
- The cloud-based Office 365 is now the fastest-growing product in Microsoft’s 38-year history.
