Starting Jan. 6, Xbox One users can get an advance look at FX’s new animated series, “Chozen,” about a gay white rapper seeking redemption after doing jail time. The show premieres on television Jan. 13. The preview can be watched via the FXNOW app for Xbox One.
“With a new world view shaped by his time in prison, Chozen's music and lyrics take aim at the stereotypes of machismo and misogyny that are synonymous with rap music,” writes Xbox Wire.
The voice cast features Bobby Moynihan of “Saturday Night Live,” as well as Michael Peña, Hannibal Buress, Nick Swardson, Kathryn Hahn and Cliff “Method Man” Smith.
