In addition to tracking Santa, with help from NORAD and Microsoft, kids can also call the NORAD command center right from the NORADSanta.org website by using Skype.
As Santa departs the North Pole on Dec. 24, a touch-enabled 3D globe on the website’s home page will light up and follow his movements. With a modern browser like Internet Explorer 11 and a touch-enabled device, you’ll be able to spin the globe with a swipe of a finger and pinch and zoom to get an in-depth look at Santa’s stops, the Skype Blogs note.
You and your children can use Skype Click to Call to talk to the NORAD command center right from NORADSanta.org and find out exactly how Santa is doing along his route. Kids can call for free anytime on Christmas Eve.
Since 1955, children of all ages have tracked Santa’s route with the help of NORAD’s radar, satellites and jet fighters. This year, Microsoft is helping to make the experience even more special, with the launch of www.NORADSanta.org.
