For every kid at heart whose heart races with the thought of tackling a tricky hill, the NBC broadcast of Red Bull’s Rampage ultimate freeride downhill mountain bike contest on Saturday, Dec. 21, will definitely get their adrenaline going.
As the Exploring IE blog reports, Rampage took place in mid-October in the Southern Utah desert, and was live streamed in partnership with IE. A companion site debuted with the competition: the Red Bull Rampage site, which provides an immersive experience to follow the riders on an interactive 3D map of the course, toggle between GoPro and event footage, review stats (and riders’ backgrounds) and watch behind-the-scenes video documentaries from the event. It’s best experienced in a modern browser like IE11.
Check out the broadcast tomorrow on your local NBC station at 3:30 p.m. (EST), explore more with the Rampage site and read more about all of this on the Exploring IE blog.
