Skype and Bing are teaming up to connect you – yes you – to the White House.
On Dec. 11 between 12:45-1:30 p.m. PT, the Vice President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden, and Cecilia Muñoz, the President’s Domestic Policy Advisor and the Director of the Domestic Policy Council, will answer questions from Skype users about immigration, an important issue to many people in our lives. The discussion will be streamed live at bing.com/whitehouse.
Skype invites you to send in questions about immigration using Skype Video Messaging. Biden and Muñoz will field social media inquiries and will also speak with a select group of questioners via live Skype Video Calls.
Skype and Bing are introducing this new tool so that audiences from diverse ideological, cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds have better access to public figures. This encourages a robust dialogue that reflects all of our country and helps show how policy decisions impact people’s lives.
