Since Xbox One’s release just 11 days ago, people worldwide have spent more than 50 million hours with games and entertainment using the console, Xbox Wire reports. And that time includes the slaying of – gasp! – 3 billion zombies in “Dead Rising 3.” (Let’s make that “Dead Rising 3 Billion” for now.)
Here are some other you-don’t-need-to-know-but-these-are-sure-fun stats about Xbox One’s young life so far:
· More than 90 million miles driven in “Forza Motorsport 5” – equal to 3,673 trips around the world.
· More than 186 million enemies defeated in “Ryse: Son of Rome”
· More than 150 million combos in “Killer Instinct”
“We are humbled and gratified by the overwhelming response from our fans to the launch of Xbox One,” said Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox corporate vice president of strategy and marketing. “Eleven days in we are seeing record breaking sales and are selling every Xbox One we can make. Demand is far exceeding supply in the 13 countries we’ve launched and we are sold out at retailers around the world.” The Xbox team and retailers are working around the clock to restock.
