At the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in July, Microsoft made a decision to modify the release timeline for partner program changes. And now, there are more details about it and what you can expect.

In a blog post published Monday on the Worldwide Partner Conference 2014 site, Julie Bennani, general manager for the Microsoft Partner Network, lays out the two program releases, first in February and later in the third quarter of 2014.

“How that impacts you depends on your level of partnership and business model,” she writes.

For example, in February, “we will offer cloud Internal Use Rights (IUR) benefits to all partners in a competency or subscribing to Microsoft Action Pack,” and will also launch “a brand new cloud-focused version of MAPs that gives partners more choice and provides content and training organized and optimized for specific partner business models like hosting, application development, custom services, managed services, reselling and device design and development.”

And by the end of summer, the “Cloud Accelerate, Cloud Deployment and Azure Circle programs will phase out.”

Get all the details from Bennani’s post.
