See the Xbox One Wireless Controller template above? If you have visions of cool art on it, use the template to submit up to three unique designs for the controller, and you could win up to $1,000, writes Xbox’s Major Nelson.
“The Xbox One era has only just begun, but it’s not too soon to leave your mark on the next generation of gaming,” he writes on his blog.

The competition is open until Dec. 31. After that, a panel of blue-ribbon judges, including Major Nelson, will sort through the entries and put the top 10 up for a public vote in January.
The grand prize is $1,000 plus five Xbox One Wireless Controllers and the possibility of Xbox making a limited-run production of your design.
The winner of the “People’s Choice Award” – the design with the most votes – will get $750.
A first prize of $500 will be given to nine entrants.
