Acer Aspire S
At 13 millimeters, the new Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook is one of the thinnest notebooks on the market. The Aspire ships with Windows 7 Home Premium and takes advantage of low-voltage Intel Core i-series processors to deliver real processing power, a 1.5-second wake-up time from sleep, and up to seven hours of battery life. ASUS UX21
With a flushed trackpad and metal keys, the UX21 manages to squeeze durability, power and class into a small package. The ASUS UX21 will ship with Windows 7 Home Premium and boasts a powerful Intel i5/i7 processor with an all-aluminum, lightweight chassis that is only 17 millimeters thick. Dell Inspiron 14z
Another compact, thin, aluminum notebook is Dell’s new Inspiron 14z. With powerful second-generation Intel i3 or i5 processors and Windows 7 Home Premium, Dell’s latest offering packs a big punch without breaking the piggy bank. Availability: September 2011.
HP Pavilion dm1
The HP Pavilion dm1 is so small it will fit into a handbag, but it packs the power of a laptop with processor options that include the Intel i3 and AMD’s upcoming E-450. This Windows 7 Home Premium-based PC also features a rubberized “soft touch” finish and will be available with the Beats Audio technology found in some of HP’s higher-end laptops. Availability: November 2011.
Lenovo IdeaPad U300s
Lenovo’s IdeaPad U300s series focuses on long battery life and powerful capabilities in an ultraportable package. The U300s is the new 13-inch version, which will be available with Windows 7 Home Premium and Intel’s ultra-low-voltage Core i7, i5 and i3 processors in a variety of speeds. Samsung Series 7 Slate PC
Joining Samsung’s Series 7 line of Windows-based devices is the new Samsung Series 7 Slate PC with a gorgeous 11.5-inch screen, smooth touch navigation and front and rear cameras for easy video chat with Windows Live. Weighing in at less than two pounds, with a 1.6GHZ Core i5 processor and your choice of a 64GB or 128GB SSD, the Series 7 Slate looks like another great option for Windows 7-based tablet fans. Samsung Series 7 Chronos
Meet the new Samsung Series 7 Chronos, which features a smaller bezel that allows a 15-inch screen to be embedded in what was formerly a 14-inch chassis. Running Windows 7 Home Premium, it’ll start up in about 19 seconds and also provides an 8GB flash memory boost right from the motherboard — along with a battery that can go for eight hours and is said to charge more than 1,500 times. Sony VAIO L
The Sony VAIO L is an all-in-one-style, desktop, Windows 7-based PC that offers a brilliant 3D LCD touchscreen display as an option. The VAIO L offers a whopping 3 TB of storage and also offers an optional TV tuner and HDMI port, making it one of the most versatile PCs for entertainment on the market. Availability: September 2011.
Toshiba Portege z835
Toshiba’s answer to the ultra-light movement is the new Portege z835, expected out later this fall. This Windows 7-based PC is clad in brushed magnesium and weighs less than 2.5 pounds. Though its processor options haven’t been released, the z835 will feature an array of connectivity ports, which should appeal to business customers and consumers alike. Availability: mid-November 2011.

The IS12T is Japan’s first smartphone featuring the next version of the Windows Phone operating system, code-named “Mango.” It’s compact and robust with a 3.7-inch screen, a 13.2 megapixel camera, 32 GB of flash memory and — oh yeah — it’s waterproof and dustproof. Availability: now.

Debuting with the largest screen in the Windows Phone portfolio, at 4.7 inches, and featuring “Mango,” the HTC TITAN fits comfortably in the palm of your hand.
