If you’re shopping for a mobile workstation that packs power in a thinner and lighter package, HP introduced the new Zbook series on Tuesday.

As Gavin Gear explains on the Extreme Windows Blog, “These new ZBook mobile workstations will offer a compelling list of features for photographers, videographers, CAD designers and other creative professionals that demand both workstation-class capabilities and a high degree of mobility.”

The ZBook mobile workstations have 4th Generation Intel Haswell dual and quad-core processor options, next-generation graphics technologies from NVIDIA and AMD, a tool-free chassis for easy upgrades and serviceability, a touch display (optional with ZBook 14) and super-high-resolution QHD+ 3,200 x 1,800 displays (optional with ZBook 15).

HP will offer three new models: the 14-inch ZBook 14, the 15-inch ZBook 15, and the 17-inch ZBook 17. The Zbook 15 and Zbook 17 are available now, but the Zbook 14 is expected in October.

HP also unveiled two new displays: The HP Z27i 27-inch and HP Z30i 30-inch IPS Displays. These are geared for professional use in commercial environments. In addition, HP updated the Z420, Z620 and Z820 workstation tower PCs with new features and capabilities, including second-generation Thunderbolt ports and support for the latest series of Intel Xeon processors.
