Office 365 listened to customers’ feedback and made some improvements as more companies (and people) are moving their social and collaboration needs to the cloud. Users are uploading more documents to SkyDrive Pro, numerous team sites are sprouting up to work with internal staff as well as with external customers and partners, and companies are establishing their corporate intranet sites.
To make these growing pains easier, Office 365 users will now find an increased file upload limit from 250 MB to 2 GB and expanded support for a broader range of file types. They’ll also be able to create more groups of websites organized into a hierarchy – from 3,000 to 10,000. Also, for those who might throw something important away by accident, the recycle bin will keep your documents for a little bit longer – 90 days.
To get the nitty gritty on these improvements, read this post on the Office 365 technology blog.
