For nearly a year, Microsoft Senior Support Escalation Engineer Robert Mitchell has been penning a Microsoft internal mail called “Tip of the Day” (TotD). It took off and quickly grew to about 1100 employee subscribers. On Aug. 29, Mitchell took the “Tip of the Day” public via a new blog. Like its email predecessor, the blog is geared toward anyone interested in the Windows platform or the Windows Azure platform, and will serve quick and consumable nuggets of knowledge.
“The idea behind TotD harkens back to something I started when I was first hired at Microsoft,” writes Mitchell in his inaugural post. “I told myself, ‘I want to try to learn something new every day. If I can learn at least one thing today, then I can call the day a success.’”
Mitchell says topics will range from Windows Server to Windows client to any of the Windows Azure offerings. Check out the Tip of the Day blog and be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a morsel.
