Hey gamers! Want to win a free trip to the Tokyo Game Show 2014?
If you’re attending PAX Prime in Seattle, you’ll get your chance. You just have to show that you’ve got what it takes to post the highest score in a challenge that encompasses three of the most iconic Atari games: “Pong,” “Centipede” and “Asteroids.” (You might remember that in 2012, Internet Explorer and Atari debuted the Atari Arcade, which includes those game classics and more, all gorgeously reimagined in HTML5 for touch capability and the modern Web.)
That’s right, it’s the Atari Arcade Battle Royale.
So what do you need to do to test your mettle against other players? Just visit Internet Explorer’s space on the show floor during one of the four days of PAX and try your hand. You’ll get 60 seconds, using a new Windows all-in-one touch PC running Internet Explorer 11, in an accelerated level of each game to rack up as many points as you can. Your final score is comprised of your scores across all three games added together. The player with the highest final score at the end of the Expo will get a free trip to the largest video game convention in the world, Tokyo Game Show 2014.
