We’ve talked with the developer community about being able to leverage the same code to deliver similar applications on Windows Phone and Windows.
To that end, we wanted to highlight some great work the .NET team has done with the release of a new, portable class library version of HttpClient.
“This library now makes it easier for developers to write code for their HTTP operations that can be leveraged across Windows and Windows Phone,” according to the Windows Phone Developer Blog.
