It’s been almost two weeks since Windows Phone App Studio beta launched and we’ve got some updates for you. As a quick reminder, Windows Phone App Studio is a free, Web-based app creation tool designed to help anyone quickly bring an idea to life by applying text, Web content, imagery and design concepts to any one of a rich set of customizable templates.
According to a post from Emilio Salvador Prieto over on the Windows Phone Developer Blog, more than 20,000 people from all over the globe kicked off more than 30,000 projects using Windows Phone App Studio beta in the first 48 hours. And just a few hours ago, we surpassed 55,000 projects. That is an awesome response from mobile developers!
Momentum aside, we’ve made some improvements to Windows Phone App Studio too based on user feedback, according to Prieto.
“…We’re adding new functionality to provide connections to additional external data sources; improving code legibility; and adding new templates,” Prieto reports.
