If your smartphone is your main camera, Hipstamatic Oggl is a must-have app that gives snap-happy photographers five pre-set pairs of lenses and films, as well as easy ways to edit and share the special moments you capture.
As of today, Windows Phone 8 users will be able to install Hipstamatic Oggl and while the app is free, you can buy a monthly subscription in-app and become an Oggl member, which helps support your creative community and gives you access to the full Hipstamatic catalog as well as new lenses and films every month for $2.99 (three months), or $9.99 a year.
But there is a free limited-time offer, too: if you download the app and create an account by Aug. 9, you can get 60 days of complimentary access to Hipstamatic’s entire catalog of lenses and films.
Hipstamatic Oggl provides several situational filters that can enhance the moment you’re about to capture, and then you can upload the images to their social networks, Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
Oggl is available on the following devices: Nokia Lumia 928, 925, 920/920T, 822, 820, 810; Samsung ATIV S, HTC 8X. And Oggl Pro is available for the Lumia 1020, which really amps up a shutterbug’s potential, with manual control of exposure, white balance, ISO and shutter speed, and high quality zoom.
