Tag 1 stand unter dem Motto „Inspiring IT Pros“. Am zweiten Tag drehte sich alles um die Themen Windows 10 und Mobility, mit Vorträge u.a. zu den Bereichen Sicherheit, Identity, Produktivität oder Verwaltung von mobilen Geräten.

Neu sind u.a. die Mac OS X 10.11 Unterstützung und Windows 10 im Upgrade Assessment Report.

Das CU3 ersetzt alle älteren Updates und inkludiert alle Hotifxes, die seit dem CU2 erschienen sind.

Alle SCCM CUs gelten auch für die SCEP Komponente, die im SCCM enthalten ist.

Wenn Windows 10 v1511 (Build 10586) mit dem SCCM (alle aktuellen Versionen: SCCM 2012 SP2, SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 und SCCM CB v1511) via OS Deployment ausgerollt werden soll, dann benötigt zum Anpassen der Windows 10 Version das passende ADK (Automated Deployment Kit). Beim Ausrollen mit dem SCCM kommt es in dieser Kombination zu einem Fehler bei Initialisieren der Hardware wenn Windows PE gestartet ist. Ohne SCCM funktioniert das Windows 10 ADK v1511 problemlos mit Windows 10 v1511. Trotzdem ist es kein SCCM Problem.

Seit heute gibt es endlich den Hotfix für das Windows 10 ADK v1511, der mit dem KB Artikel 3143760 veröffentlicht worden ist.

It’s no secret that government agencies require a very high level of safety and security in their IT environments. Constantly evolving security threats, managing continuous updates on multiple platforms and devices, and slow upgrade cycles are just a few of the challenges facing government CIOs today.

Companies all across Africa, face new and emerging challenges that range from a constantly shifting threat landscape to managing multiple platforms and devices in the enterprise environment. And the modern threat landscape has never been more challenging, driving tremendous costs and risk to the security of critical information.

Last week the U.S Department of Defense announced its intention to begin the rapid deployment of Windows 10 throughout it’s organizations, to improve the Department’s cybersecurity, lower the cost of IT and streamline the IT operating environment.

Further demonstrating a strong vote of confidence for the platform, Windows 10 has been certified as meeting specific government criteria and standards. The National Information Assurance Program, the arm of the US government responsible for evaluating commercial IT products for use in National Security Systems, has certified Windows 10 against the Mobile Device Fundamentals Common Criteria protection profile.

Over the past few months, we’ve talked to lots of customers across Africa about the advantages of upgrading to Windows 10. We’ve talked about the advantages of in-place upgrades, the familiarity of the interface and the benefits of a consistent operating system and converged application environment.

However, probably the most important reason that customers should upgrade now is to take advantage of the New Security Features, available on Windows 10.

• Windows Hello: One of the greatest weaknesses in any security environment is the use of passwords, which can easily be hacked and used to gain access to secure resources and data. With Windows 10, agencies can identify individuals and restrict access through integrated multi-factor authentication using biometric mechanisms like facial recognition or fingerprints using the Windows Hello and Windows Passport features.
  
  
• Enhanced threat resistance and device security. Working from a crypto-processor, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) -approved chip, tools include familiar features like Secure Boot, which helps prevent malware from embedding itself within hardware or starting before the OS, and Trusted Boot which helps maintain the integrity of the rest of the operating system. Device Guard ensures that only signed applications and code can run on these devices. And Credential Guard safeguards credentials inside a hardware-based virtualized environment and breaks the popular “pass the hash” used in many major breaches.
  
  
• Windows Defender, provides anti-malware service, which currently protects almost 300 million Windows devices every day.
  
  
• Enterprise Data Protection, currently in testing with enterprise customers and available soon, provides separation between both corporate and personal data and prevents corporate data from being copied out of corporate files to non-corporate files and locations, such as public website or social channels. Additionally, when EDP is used with Rights Management Services, it can protect data locally adding another layer of protection even when data roams or is shared.

Feels like a good time to make the upgrade and start deploying Windows 10 on machines – both at work and at home.

Module 1: Skype for Business Architecture:
This module provides an overview of the preferred architecture for Skype for Business.  This module also covers external access (Edge) and authentication methods.

Module 2:  Conferencing:
This module will introduce the learner to Skype for Business’ conferencing capabilities.  You will learn how meetings are scheduled, how meetings are stored, accessed, and how to manage and control the various modalities used in a conference. 

Module 3: High Availability and Disaster Recovery:
In this module, you will be presented with the options available in Skype for Business Server for high availability for the Front End Pool, Back End database, and file store. In addition, this module extensively discusses the disaster recovery approach in case of a datacenter failure.

Module 4: Clients and Devices:
This module covers the new functionality of Skype for Business clients and devices.  You will deep dive into client internals for a deeper understanding of how the clients and devices work.

Module 5: Mobility:
This module will focus on the Skype for Business mobile clients for Windows, IOS and Android and how they connect, increase productivity and keep your communications secure.

Module 6: Operations:
This module will cover the day to day monitoring and performance of your Skype for Business Server environment.  Here you will learn how to keep your servers and media flows optimized and your network bandwidth under control. 

Module 7: Archiving and Compliance:
In this module, you will learn the features and functionality in Skype for Business Server to keep your communications in regulatory compliance and easily discoverable in Microsoft Exchange Server or SQL Server.

Module 8: Interoperability: 
This module focuses on how Skype for Business Server can operate and extend communications with 3rd party video conferencing servers, Exchange Server and Sharepoint Server.

Module 9: Troubleshooting:
This module will introduce you to the Centralized Logging feature in Skype for Business Server along with the tools to help troubleshoot and solve problems in your environment.  Specialized scenarios and “In the field” experiences help arm the learner with the knowledge to fix issues quickly.

Intervju med Yvonne Garshol, Consultant Manager i Communicate:

Hvordan oppleves dagens markedet fra Communicate sitt ståsted?

Det går veldig bra om dagen. Vi merker lite til treghetene i markedet, da med tanke på nedgangen i oljebransjen, som sprer seg fra Vestlandet. Som nisjeleverandør har Communicate spesialisert seg på integrasjon som *** og har derfor ikke merket så mye til den generelle nedgangen som preger markedet. Partnerskapet med Microsoft og leveransen av løsninger på Microsoftplattform, som er godt kjente i markedet, gjør at vi står støtt. Communicate er et solid selskap, med gode resultater. Vi er 70 ansatte, av disse er ca. 50 konsulenter, hvor de aller fleste har Microsoftbakgrunn.

Digitaliseringen som skjer i arbeidsmarkedet nå gir flere muligheter enn begrensninger. Communicate må selvfølgelig forholde seg til endringene som skjer i markedet – integrasjonsløsningene har endret seg og dermed har vi måttet tenke nytt. Tidligere var fokus på mellomvareløsninger, men med de tekniske endringene så er det nå enda viktigere å ha solid erfaring med programmering, og vi har derfor valgt å rekruttere trainee-kandidater via .net/uviklingssporet til Microsoft University (MSU).

Dere har jo for andre året valgt å rekruttere kandidater til utvikling/.net-sporet på MSU, så hva vil du si er verdien av å rekruttere via MSU?

MSU leverer kandidater av høy kvalitet. Vi meldte på 3 kandidater til MSU for første gang i 2015, og var veldig fornøyd med kandidatene vi rekrutterte da, så vi velger å fortsette med dette når vi nå skal rekruttere til trainee-programmet for 2016. Ved å rekruttere via MSU får kandidatene en solid grunnmur i .net/utvikling, som de kan bygge videre på. Flere og flere integrasjonsløsninger preges av trender som Cloud, Social, Mobility og API Management, og implementeres ved utvikling i .NET kombinert med ulike Microsoftplattformer som BizTalk Server, SQL Server og Azure med diverse iPaas løsninger. Med grunnlaget fra MSU bygger vi selv videre kompetanse hos kandidatene etter gjennomført kursing. Kandidatene går inn i et trainee-løp hos oss og trenes blant annet i hvordan det er å jobbe som konsulent og spesifikt hvordan de skal jobbe med integrasjon (som er et område mange ikke kjenner fra skolebenken).

Vi gjør det vi kan for å få kandidatene raskt ut i arbeid, men vi er nøye med hvilke prosjekter de settes på som første prosjekt. Vi er opptatt av at det skal være en god sammensetning mellom juniorer og seniorer, og at prosjektarbeidet gjennomføres etter beste praksis. Vi ønsker å sikre at det er et godt miljø rundt kandidatene, både for læring og utvikling. De får spennende og viktige oppgaver på prosjektene de er med på, og de opplever eierskap og mestring.

For oss gir det også stor verdi å få tilgang til en portal med ferdig screenede kandidater, med profiler og CVer klare. Det er lett å skille kandidatene fra hverandre og finne kandidatene med riktig profil for oss. Dette sparer oss for mye tid. Co-brandingen med Microsoft gir stor drahjelp i forhold til å tiltrekke oss de beste hodene. 

Så hvorfor satser dere på nyutdannede?

De nyutdannede bidrar med et spesielt engasjement, og har en oppdatert kunnskap på områder som i kombinasjon med seniorer skaper en spennende dynamikk i arbeidet. Dette fører til utvikling og læring for både juniorer og seniorer. Nyutdannede kommer ut i arbeid med en positiv utålmodighet og et engasjement. De er ivrige etter å komme seg ut i arbeid, og har en entusiasme for å lære og å bidra.

Vil du anbefale andre å rekruttere via MSU?

Ja, absolutt! Som nevnt, så var vi med på dette for første gang i fjor og det var en stor suksess, vi velger derfor å videreføre denne måten å rekruttere på i 2016.

Seit knapp zwei Wochen verbreitet sich der Erpresser-Virus „Locky“ weltweit auf PCs. In diesem Beitrag finden Nutzer Informationen zur Verbreitung des Virus und wie einer Infizierung vorgebeugt werden kann.

Wie erkenne ich Locky?
Locky ist ein sogenannter „Krypto-Trojaner“. Der Virus kommt in den meisten Fällen über eine Spam-Mail auf den Rechner. Eine bekannte Methode, bei der sich die Schadsoftware sehr schnell und weit ausbreitet und nicht auf eine bestimmte Region begrenzt ist. Dementsprechend hoch waren die weltweiten Infektionsraten in den vergangenen Tagen.

Im konkreten Fall der Locky-Mail befindet sich meist ein als Rechnung getarntes Word- oder Excel-Dokument im Anhang. Öffnen Nutzer diesen Anhang, werden Makros ausgeführt und die Schadsoftware wird auf den PC heruntergeladen, wo schließlich sämtliche Dateien verschlüsselt werden. Auf dem Bildschirm erscheint dann eine Nachricht, die für die Freigabe der verschlüsselten Daten eine Bezahlung fordert.

Wie kann ich mich schützen?
Microsoft empfiehlt allen Nutzern, nicht auf die Forderung einzugehen. Es gibt keine Garantie dafür, dass die Dateien anschließend wieder entschlüsselt werden. Lediglich über ein Backup haben Nutzer die Möglichkeit, ihre Daten wiederherzustellen.

Microsoft stellt Technologien bereit, die Erpresser-Trojaner wie Locky rechtzeitig entdecken und entfernen. Zudem empfehlen wir, Makros zu deaktivieren, um den PC vor diesem und weiteren Angriffen durch Downloads zu schützen. Makros sollten nur in Einzelfällen und von vertrauenswürdigen Quellen ausgeführt werden. Unternehmenskunden sollten Dateien an einem sicheren Ort speichern, an dem beim Öffnen keine Makros aktiviert werden. Des Weiteren können Nutzer den Cloud Protection Service von Microsoft verwenden, um die Sicherheit zu erhöhen.

Höchste Sicherheit gegenüber Schadsoftware erhalten Nutzer über das aktuellste Betriebssystem: Windows 10 bietet stetige Updates, effektive Anti-Viren-Programme wie den Windows Defender und zusätzliche Features wie den integrierten Identifikationsschutz, Verbesserungen zur Vermeidung von Datenverlusten sowie einen eingebauten Malware-Schutz für Apps.

В декабре 2015 года были заявлены два документа, в которых объявлены подробности о различных изданиях Windows Server 2016, о правилах лицензирования, стоимости лицензий и сроках доступности. Наконец-то появилась возможность вкратце рассмотреть. Для тех, у кого мало времени читать целиком большую заметку без картинок, предлагаю смотреть по подзаголовкам в поисках интересной информации, которую можно описать с точки зрения появления разницы в поддержке ролей и компонентов, и переходе на новую модель лицензирования.

Издания ОС

С выходом Windows Server 2012 наиболее серьёзным нововведением в изданиях ОС стало отсутствие каких-либо функциональных отличий между Standard и Datacenter, и их разница на данный момент находятся исключительно в плоскости лицензирования, за исключением фич, с ними связанных, AVMA, например.

В Windows Server 2016 вновь появилось разделение в технологических возможностях редакций: так, Windows Server 2016 Standard лишена новых функций — технологии хранилищ Storage Space Direct, Storage Replica, технологии защиты виртуальных машин Shielded Virtual Machines, Host Guardian Service, а также относительно новый сетевой стек будет доступен только в Windows Server 2016 Datacenter. Таким образом, разделение редакций для решений с высокой плотностью виртуализации и гибридным окружением и для решений с невиртуализованной средой стало ещё более очевидным. Энтузиасты пытаются изменить ситуацию, но, на мой взгляд, это маловероятно.

Лицензирование Windows Server 2016

Издания Standard и Datacenter теперь лицензируются по физическим ядрам. Чтобы соблюсти лицензионную чистоту, требуется присвоить лицензии всем активным физическим ядрам процессоров; отключённым и виртуальным ядрам, реализованные посредством Hyper-Threading лицензии назначать не нужно.

Необходимо назначать минимум 8 лицензий для каждого сокета при мультипроцессорном сервере, и минимум 16 при односокетной конфигурации сервера. При этом стоит отметить, что стоимость 16-ядерных лицензий Datacenter и Standard для Windows Server 2016 будет приблизительной той же, что и стоимость 2-сокетных в соответствующих изданий Windows Server 2012 R2. Поядерные лицензии будут поставляться пакетами по две лицензии в пакете.

Кроме того, схема с покрытием хостовыми лицензиями гостевых экземпляров ОС распространяется теперь и на контейнеры Hyper-V.  В целом, тут ничего не изменилось: хотите иметь две виртуальные машины или два контейнера Hyper-V — лицензируете его по Standard и используете основную ОС исключительно для обслуживания виртуальных машин, запущенных на этом сервере. Лицензия Datacenter Edition даёт права на запуск неограниченного количества виртуальных машин или контейнеров Hyper-V. Естественно, все ядра сервера должны быть покрыты лицензиями. Смешивать лицензии Standard и Datacenter на одном сервере всё также запрещается.

Сколько будут стоить лицензии Windows Server 2016?

Microsoft заявила также предварительную стоимость новых лицензий.

Так, лицензии Standard будут стоить от $882. Двухпроцессорная Datacenter - $6155.

パスワードの変更処理をすると、以下のエラーメッセージが出力される事が報告されております。

「サーバーのセキュリティデータベースにこのワークステーションの信頼関係に対するコンピューターアカウントがありません。」

現在判明している発生条件は以下の通りです。

発生条件 (操作)
1. 外部信頼を結んでいる先のコンピューターに、信頼関係元のユーザーでログオンしてパスワード変更する（フォレスト信頼では発生しない）

2. ワークグループのコンピューターにローカルユーザーでログオンし、ドメインユーザーのパスワードを変更する

3. 外部信頼、フォレスト信頼を結んでいないドメインに属するコンピューターから、別のドメインに属するユーザーのパスワード変更する

エラーメッセージは表示されるものの、ドメインコントローラー側でのパスワード変更は正常に完了しています。
その為、エラーメッセージが表示されるという点以外の実害はございません。
エラー画面を閉じ、以降は新しいパスワードで認証をご利用ください。

2016 年 4 月 15 日に、Office 365 の TLS 証明書が更新されます。この証明書は、Office 365 と外部の SMTP サーバーの間で TLS 暗号化を行うために Office 365 で使用されているものです。Office 365 に送受信されるメールのセキュリティを強化する新しい証明書は、新しい証明機関によって発行され、発行者とサブジェクトも新しくなります。

以下のいずれかの条件に当てはまる場合、この変更により、Office 365 とオンプレミスの Exchange サーバー間のハイブリッドメールフローが停止する可能性があります。

• オンプレミスの Exchange サーバーで Exchange 2013 累積更新プログラム 8 (CU8) 以前のバージョンを実行している場合。
• ハイブリッド メールフローを処理する Exchange 2013 サーバーを Exchange 2013 CU9 以降のバージョンにアップグレードしたが、CU9 へのアップグレード後に (Exchange 管理センターまたは直接のダウンロードリンクから) ハイブリッド構成ウィザードを再実行していない場合。

お客様の組織が上記のいずれかの条件に当てはまる場合、2016 年 4 月 15 日以降、Office 365 とお客様の組織間のハイブリッドメールフローが停止します。これを回避するには、以下に示す手順を実行します。

新しいハイブリッド構成ウィザードの使用

最新のハイブリッド構成ウィザード (HCW) を使用して、新しい TLS 証明書を使用するように Exchange 2013 サーバーを構成できます。次の手順を実行します。

1. ハイブリッド メールフローを処理している Exchange 2013 サーバーで Exchange 2013 CU8 以前のバージョンを実行している場合、「Exchange 2013 の更新プログラム」の記載に従って、少なくとも 1 台のサーバーに最新の累積更新プログラムをインストールします。
2. 最新の累積更新プログラムをインストールしたら、新しい HCW アプリケーションをダウンロードし、こちらのブログ記事の手順に従ってウィザードを実行します。

手動での更新

現時点では Exchange 2013 を最新の累積更新プログラムにアップグレードできない場合 (ただし、マイクロソフトのサポート ポリシーにご留意ください)、新しい TLS 証明書を使用するようにサーバーを手動で構成できます。ハイブリッド メールフローの処理に使用している各 Exchange 2013 サーバーで Exchange 管理シェルを開き、以下のコマンドを実行します。
